In this Red Dead Redemption 2 UFO Easter Egg Guide, we will show you where a UFO Easter egg is located in the game. This Easter Egg has little to no meaning as of yet, but we are sure there will be more such Easter eggs in the game to be discovered and might have something related to the UFO.
Unlike the UFOs in GTA V, this Easter Egg does not require you to have the game completed at 100%, as it is easily accessible to anyone who wants to discover it themselves.
UFO Easter Egg Guide – Red Dead Redemption 2
Below we will guide you to the location of this UFO Easter Egg, and what steps you need to do before you get to see the UFO for yourself.
UFO Easter Egg Location
You need to go a small shack located next to pond near New Hanover, and just below Emerald Ranch. We have marked the shack location in the picture below.
When you reach the Shack, you will see a lot of skeletons inside with beds. Proceed further to the main desk, where you can collect the Mysterious Note that will read:
AT THE SECOND HOUR UNDER THE HALF MOON, BY THE GREAT LOVE AND GRACE OF OUR SAVIOR, KUHKOWABA, VOYAGER OF TIME AND GALAXIES. WE CAST OFF OUR MORTAL SHELLS SO HIS VESSEL CAN TAKE OUR SPIRITS TO THE PROMISED REALM, TO LIVE IN PEACE AND POWER UNTIL THE TWO THOUSANDTH YEAR, WHEN WE WILL RETURN FOR A NEW CHOSEN AND WORSHIP ONCE AGAIN AT THE PEAK OF MOUNT SHANN. IN HIS LOVE, WE REJOICE ALWAYS.
The mysterious letter will tell you to visit Mount Shann which is northwest of Strawberry. When you reach the mountain, hike up to reach the top, find the mountain’s rock circle. From here you need to go back to the same shack where you found the mysterious letter.
It is best to travel to this location at night, as the letter suggests the time to be at 2 am. When you enter it, the shack will glow bright, and you will see a UFO outside hovering just above the roof of the shack. When you go out to see it, it will rise and fly away.
