In this Red Dead Redemption 2 Cigarette Cards Locations Guide, we will tell you the easiest way to get the Cigarette Cards that you need to collect. These collectibles are needed to be found to complete the game 100%.
In the game, there are 12 sets of 12 cards. In total, you are supposed to find 144 cards that are spread across the various locations on the map. Keep in mind, however, that you need to activate a mission in Chapter 2 called Smoking and Other Hobbies to get the cards to show up in loot.
To activate the mission, make sure you are in Chapter 2 and have completed the mission “Who is Not Without Sin”. You should then meet a man called Phineas T. Ramsbottom, who will give you this Stranger Mission. Phineas will be at the Flatneck Station, north of Flat Iron Lake. He will ask you to collect all the 144 Cigarette Cards and post it to him once you have all.

How to Get Cigarette Cards
Instead of going around looking for every card around the whole map, we have found a way you can easily complete this Stranger Mission. The only catch is that you need to have $2,000 ad hand, and your Satchel should be fully upgraded.
Firstly, you need to go to any General Store of major towns in the game. Then, buy a Premium Cigarette Pack from the store. Each of these Premium Packs contains a Cigarette Card.
This process has to be repeated and it can take about 15 minutes if your Satchel is fully upgraded. In total, Premium Packs will take about $2,000 to collect all the Cigarette Cards. This method saves up a lot of time, considering that Cigarette Cards are randomly placed and can be missed easily.
Any of the cards that you find as loot can be sold for good money. So you don’t necessarily lose money by buying them from the General Store.
Once you have collected all the cards, go to the post office and mail them to Phineas. H will then send you a reward of $200 for collecting the Cards and will also complete the mission: Smoking and Other Hobbies.
