In this Red Dead Redemption 2 Homestead Stash Location Guide, we will show you all the homesteads and their stash locations that you can find all around the map. Collecting the stashes will also unlock the Breaking and Entering Trophy/Achievement.

In the game, there are 7 homestead stashes. Most of them are available from the start of Chapter 2, except the one at Willard’s Rest, which will only be available once you reach Chapter 6. Once you get to the stash, you have to make sure that you loot everything with the stash; otherwise, it will not count and will unlock your trophy.

It is best to complete these collectible quests as early as possible. The reason for this is because the inhabitants of the homesteads may be killed by in the story and may not be available at all. Without the inhabitants, the stashes are lost.

Homestead Stash Locations Guide – Red Dead Redemption 2

Below we have listed all the 7 homesteads and their stashes where you can find them. We will also mark their locations on the map so that you can find them easily.

Lonnie’s Shack

To get to this homestead, go to Lonnie’s Shack as marked on the map. Once you reach the location, you will find 4 guys that you have to deal with. Proceed in killing 3 out of the 4 and leaving one alive. When you threaten to kill the last guy, he will tell you the location of the stash.

Depending on which guy you have spared, each will give you a different location of the stash. One guy will send you to search under a pillow, the other will tell you to look under the bed or in the sack of grain in the kitchen. Either way, interrogation is the key to finding the stash; otherwise, you will not find it.

Aberdeen Pig Farm

Go to Aberdeen Pig Farm, as shown on the map below. Once you reach the farm, you will find a man sitting on the porch who will greet you. Talk to the man and follow him into the house. You will have to rob the place to get to the stash.

Alternatively, you can head back and enter the house from the southern side. This will lead you into the room of the stash directly. Make sure to loot everything that is lootable, to consider it 100% completed. The stash will reward you with $100.

Chez Porter

This is a part of a task that Javier sets you when you accept his Home Robbery quest in Chapter 2. Once you are at the homestead location, head inside the barn and climb up the ladder that leads to the upper floor. The stash will be next to some haystacks. The stash will reward you with $100 and a jewelry bag.

Watson‘s Cabin

Go to the location of this cabin as marked on the map. Once you enter the cabin you will find an old lady. Enter the house to climb down into the cellar. You can use the ladder that leads to the cellar. You will find a shotgun that you have to steal what belongs to the lady.

Return after a few days, or you can rest in a campfire to skip to the next day. You will find 4 of the old lady’s sons that you will have to kill. Kill the sons and loot a lockbox that will be on the kitchen table. Loot the lockbox and everything else as well.

Van Horn Mansion

This villa can be found south of Van Horn Trading Outpost. Try to get to this stash as early in the game as possible because the inhabitants leave the house later on. Wait for nightfall when you reach the homestead. Then, proceed to loot the house when the inhabitants are sleeping. Make sure you loot the villa completely.

Catfish Jacksons

Go to the house, referring to the location marked on the map. Once you enter the house, you will either find a father and son or just the son. Get the shotgun from the living room and threaten the son to tell where the stash is. It will either be in the chimney or outside of the house to the right of the door. The stash will be in the crate that you will have to interact with to loot. There are many items inside the house that you should also loot completely.

Willard’s Rest

This homestead is only available in Chapter 6 or when you have completed the first Story Mission of Chapter 6. Once you reach the location as marked on the map, talk to the woman and tell her how to hunt. When you return after a few days, you will be required to participate in a shooting contest with her. After the shootout, loot the lockbox and everything else as well.
