The 3-star quality animals spawn randomly in areas where they are likely to be found, this may take some time finding the right animal and you will have to use a lot of bait in order to find the right animal.

How to Get a Perfect Carcass

To get the perfect carcass out of your hunt, you must make sure you follow the checklist we have listed for you below. Make sure you are aware of the steps before you start shooting blindly with any weapon and potentially ruining the animal carcass.

• You must first get a lot of bait since all the animals in the hunting requests are herbivores; you must fill in your inventory with a lot of bait since you will be using a lot of it trying to locate a 3-star quality animal.
• The weapons that most hunting requests are to be used for are the Varmint Rifle, the Repeater Rifle, and Small Game Arrows. The Varmint Rifle is used for almost all the animals that are to be hunted, so it’s best you either buy one or equip it during hunting.
• Use the bait in a way that you can use your binoculars to identify if it is a 3-star quality animal. This may take quite a long time, and placing in a lot of bait will be required.
• The animal must be killed with 1 hit, either to the head or the heart. You can highlight its critical spot by using your Dead Eye and kill the animal. If you fail, the carcass will not be perfect.
• After you kill the animal, you can see if it is still in 3-star quality. If it is in perfect condition, you will receive a checkmark on the hunting request. You must also bring the animal back to the post office as soon as possible so that it doesn’t decay and lose its quality. Once at the post office, mail it to Ms. Hobbs.
