Below we have detailed how to complete the Hunter for Hire mission in Fallout 76 Wastelanders.

How to Complete

The first thing you need to do is to go and talk to Lacey and Isela, who will tell you about the treasure that they are looking for. This will begin the Wayward Souls quest that will bring you to Duchess in The Wayward.

Once you talk to Duchess, she will tell you about the Free Radicals that are searching for the Crane, and that they know the location of the treasure. The quest will now task you with creating a Crane Treasure Hunting Sign which will require materials to build it. The sign will lure the radicals so you can catch up to them.

However, you also need to broadcast the tape at a radio tower. This can be done by taking the broadcast tape and heading to the Relay Tower EM-B1-27 and then using it to broadcast the tape. You will find some enemies here at the tower that you have to clear out.  Now you can activate the transmission from the room inside.

Head back to the camp and you will see people coming to your camp, where you can talk to them for some information. Look for the Free Radicals NPCs who can give you what you want if you have enough Luck or Strength attributes.

The Radicals will point you to West Virginia Lumber Company, and with this information, return to Duchess. She will then task you with going to Anchor Farm and talking to the family here that will give you the passcode for the camp. This code will be Blue Danube. Now you need to get to the fairground and talk to the special scrapper that Duchess told you about.

The scrapper will ask you to get the Deathclaw Egg for the Stealth by. This will allow you to sneak and take out everyone at the camp. You are left with a few choices when you are going to visit Roper, who is the leader of the camp. You can either kill them stealthily using the Stealth Boy or persuade Roper to leave The Wayward alone.

Alternatively, you can ask him to join you in the search for the treasure. But this can only be done if you have +4 Intelligence, +4 Agility, and +4 Strength. The quest completes when you return to The Wayward and talk to the Duchess.
