Developer Storm in a Teacup and publisher ESDigital Games have officially announced the release date for Steel Seed. Steel Seed is an upcoming sci-fi stealth-action adventure slated for release on April 10, 2025, for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, along with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Ahead of its launch, you can experience a playable demo on Steam, offering a preview of the game’s mechanics, including stealth action, combat, and parkour.
Steel Seed takes place in a dystopian future where humanity faces extinction. You follow Zoe, a determined protagonist, as she explores a mysterious underground facility alongside Koby, her flying drone companion. As they delve deeper into this hostile environment, the pair uncover secrets that may hold the key to human survival.

Visually, Steel Seed presents a striking post-cataclysmic landscape. From towering industrial zones to eerie biodomes, the hand-crafted environments immerse you in a world where survival is uncertain. Beyond its action-packed gameplay, the game explores profound themes, questioning the boundaries between humanity and technology, trust and control, and the resilience of the human spirit. The narrative, edited by BAFTA-winning writer Martin Korda, aims to deliver a thought-provoking and emotionally engaging experience.
