Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive have announced the release date for the upcoming Siege Mode update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The Siege Mode arrives as a free update on June 26, 2025, which will be an endless PvE game mode, and you will find two new cosmetic DLCs to decorate your classes as you jump into it. With the game already pretty brutal when it comes to slaughtering down the Tyranids, the new game mode will give you yet another way to slaughter endless hordes of Tyranids while donning some brand-new colors.
Announced during the recent Warhammer Skulls Showcase 2025, Focus Entertainment gave us a small teaser trailer for the upcoming mode. Check it out below before we jump into additional details:
The new Siege Mode takes place on the planet Kadaku, and it is a three-player game mode. In this mode, you will take down even-deadlier waves of Tyranid and Chaos forces in the defense of an Imperial fortress. You should know that these waves never end, and only in death does duty end. You will need to hold your ground and survive as long as you can against endless enemies. The Siege Mode will go live on the Public Test Server on PC via Steam starting June 4, and details will be shared in the upcoming Community Update.
The new Siege Mode arrives in Patch 8, which also brings a host of other improvements and content. Two brand-new DLCs are part of the new update for the Ultra Edition, Gold Edition, and Season Pass owners. The White Scars Chapter Pack will introduce a brand-new Champion skin for the Assault Class, three exclusive White Scars-inspired weapon skins for the Occulus Bolt Carbine, Stalker Bolt Carbine, and the Combat Knife. There are also some cosmetic options and heraldry markings for their Successor Chapters.
The Blood Angels Pack will provide a number of new armor pieces that can be equipped on any of the game’s playable classes, along with heraldry markings celebrating eight of the Blood Angels’ Successor Chapters. For a limited time, you can grab Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 for a 40% discount across all three editions, including Standard, Gold, and Ultra editions, and DLCs. This discount will only last for the Skulls Festival of Video Games. The Siege Mode update goes live for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S players on June 26, 2025.
