Horror fans gather around as we dive deep into over 100 horror titles showcased during The Horror Game Awards Summer Showcase 2025. The Horror Game Awards Summer Showcase started back in 2022 with two horror fans and over fourteen content creators made up that year’s jury. This small show grew to almost double in size in 2023, and since then, it not only celebrates the best horror titles released in a year, but it also hosts multiple showcases throughout the year, highlighting some of the best horror titles released on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch every year. This year is no different, and as we near the Summer Game Fest time, it is time for the summer edition of the show, where we get to see nearly a hundred horror games slated for release this year and beyond.

Inhuman Resources: A Literary Machination
Developed by Finnegan Motors and published by Indie Asylum, Inhuman Resources is a literary machination about corporations and what horrors you will commit for minimum wage. Quartermain and the Cult of Cthulhu

Developed by Troglobytes Games and published by Digital Vortex Entertainment, RailGods of Hysterra is a co-op survival game set in a post-apocalyptic Lovecraftian world. You must command and evolve a living, monstrous train as you craft weapons, build a mobile base, gain powers, and face the Great Old Ones. The Alien Cube
Developed by Alessandro Guzzo, The Alien Cube is a Lovecraftian first-person horror adventure game that serves as a spiritual successor to The Land of Pain. In this game, you find yourself in the middle of a series of mysterious events as you follow your uncle’s disappearance and confront a terrible truth. The Land of Pain
Developed by Alessandro Guzzo, The Land of Pain is an open-world Lovecraftian horror adventure game in which you must learn to survive while fending off a dark and disturbing evil. Featuring tank controls and fixed cameras, you will explore a haunting world of twisted experiments and occult nightmares. BIOMEAT HUSKWORLD
Developed by Rafael Guidice and published by DOSMan Games, BIOMEAT HUSKWORLD is an immersive shooter where you are a creature, and meat is the new currency. She must travel to the ruins of VonGarland Castle to find her brother and uncover the truth behind what the Plasmadine corporation is doing on the island. Xenopurge
Developed by Traptics and published by Firesquid, Xenopurge is a tactical auto-battler where you must command and lead your squad, which is tasked with purging the Xenos threat. You will operate from a remote command center, issue indirect orders through screens, and feel the weight of being in command of a squad as their lives depend on your choices and decisions.
