We just saw the first-ever edition of Thinky Direct 2025, a showcase for fans of puzzle games. The show featured some of the best puzzle games, which are coming soon to PC and consoles. City of Voices
Developed by Kini Games, City of Voices is a short Golden Idol-like deduction game about a young girl who gets catapulted from her suburban life into the mysterious world of ancient Maya. While playing as Maya, you must investigate a series of moments frozen in time. You will examine clues and solve puzzles in order to progress and uncover the story. It is slated for a PC Steam release, and you can download its free demo right now.
Shape Sender Deluxe
Developed by Dead Teapot, Shape Sender Deluxe is a puzzle game where you must solve physics puzzles with magnets, springs, portals, fans, and much more with your best friend Sendy. Sendy helps you in various ways, but you must keep an eye on Sendy due to his suspicious recent behavior. Shape Sender Deluxe is slated for release on PC vis Steam soon.
The Button Effect
Developed by Frycandle, The Button Effect is a short, minimalistic first-person puzzle game in which you must explore a dense, interwoven museum full of hidden connections and spatial insights. It is slated for a PC Steam release soon and is currently offering a free demo for you to try out the game.
Railbound
Developed by Afterburn, Railbound is a relaxing puzzle game in which you fix train connections and travel the world. It is available on PC via Steam since September 2022 however, the developer just released a brand-new Level Editor for the game, and you can jump back into the game to create some custom levels right now. If you hurry up, you can grab the game with a massive 45% discount for a limited time.
Pup Champs
Developed by Afterburn, Pup Champs is a puzzle game where you must lead a team of puppy soccer players and solve over 170 challenges. You will need to solve puzzles in order to score goals and win in this tactical puzzle game. It just received a brand-new update, and it is currently offering a 10% discount on the title as well. Pup Champs is currently available on PC via Steam.
Isles of Sea & Sky – The Mysterious Update
Developed by Cicada Games alongside publisher Gamirror Games, Isles of Sea & Sky is an oceanic, open-world puzzle game in which you must solve innovative block puzzles as you unearth a mysterious story while making new friends that change the puzzle landscape and unlock new powers that give you more ways to progress through the story. The game is about to receive its brand-new update called The Mysterious Update. Isles of Sea & Sky is currently available on PC via Steam. To celebrate the new update, the developer is offering a massive 60% discount for a limited time.
Kiko’s Apple Adventure
Developed by PawPaw Games, Kiko’s Apple Adventure is a simple puzzle game in which you help a bear raft through diverse islands while pushing apples onto the rafts to solve puzzles. You will find clever ways to deal with enemies for a fun apple pie adventure. Kiko’s Apple Adventure is now available on PC via Steam with a limited-time 15% launch discount.
Parallel Experiment
Developed by Eleven Puzzles, Parallel Experiment is a 2-player co-op puzzle game in which each player only has half of the puzzle. Both players must work together in order to solve the parallel puzzle and survive together. Strange Antiquities
Developed by Bad Viking and published by Iceberg Interactive, Strange Antiquities is a puzzle game where you become the custodian of a store dealing in occult antiquities. Sunken Stones
Developed by Spritewrench, Sunken Stones is a turn-based puzzle game about pirates and cursed treasure. You choose a captain, gather your crew, and defeat monsters by strategically placing units on a 5×5 grid. It is coming to PC via Steam on July 18, 2025. He Who Watches
Developed by Danga Games, He Who Watches is an atmospheric dungeon puzzler where you must manipulate gravity, walk on walls, and uncover secrets. Every room offers a unique idea in the game. It is slated for a PC Steam release in 2025, and you can download its free demo right now to try it out.
EMUUROM
Developed by borbware, EMUUROM is a puzzle game in which you must explore and document the ancient homeworld of EMUUROM before it is lost forever. You will study creatures and reveal hidden pathways with your scanner beam. Everything that you document gets stored in your EMUUDEX, and you have to move around using the systematic behavior of different creatures. 868-Back
Developed by Michael Brough, 868-Back is a computer-hacking strategy game in which you will sneak into servers, steal glittering data, fight hostile tasks while trying to expose the megacorps, and find the mainframe. It is slated for a PC Steam release soon.

Developed by John August and Corey Martin, along with publisher GameTeam6, Birdigo is a roguelike deckbuilder in which you must build words and deploy game-changing cards. It comes from the developers behind AlphaBirds. You must use savvy and strategy in the game to guide your flock on their migration. is this Seat Taken?
Developed by Poti Poti Studio and published by Wholesome Games Presents, is this Seat Taken? is a logic puzzle game that is all about seating people correctly. The game will throw groups of hilariously particular people, and you will be required to seat them accordingly. Every character will have some sort of pet peeve that will make seating them a challenge. You must find the perfect spot for everyone and unlock new levels. It is slated for release on PC via Steam soon, however, you can download and try it out right now as its demo is now live.
Nonolith
Developed by JUSTCAMH, Nonolith is a puzzle game in which you must copy and paste blocks to reach new areas and master hidden mechanics that allow you to do the impossible. It is slated for release on PC via Steam soon.
Cipher Zero
Developed by Zapdot, Cipher Zero is a minimalistic logic game in which you only have two actions: you can either toggle a tile on or off, and then you can check your solution. You will need experimentation with curious glyphs to infer their rules and solve different puzzles while exploring several locations. It is slated for a PC Steam release on July 22, 2025, and a free demo is now available for you to play.
The Mermaid Mask
Developed by SFB Games, The Mermaid Mask is a puzzle game and a murder-mystery combined into one. Magnus Mortuga, the captain of the world’s strangest submarine, has been murdered and you must figure how who killed him. You will inspect clues and look for hidden clues. Grimoire and Sally are returning for the title, and they are accompanied by a colorful cast of different characters. The Mermaid Mask will be released on PC via Steam soon; however, a free demo for the game is currently available for you to download and try it out.
Echo Weaver
Developed by Moonlight Kids and published by Akupara Games, Echo Weaver is a time loop MetroidBRAINia in which you use time as a resource and secrets as upgrades. You play as one of the last of the weavers who is stuck in a glitching time loop. You must explore the remains of your society, uncover the mystery, and perfect the loop. It is slated for a PC Steam release soon.

Bonfire Peaks – Lost Memories Part 2 & Part 3
Draknek & Friends showed the trailer for Bonfire Peaks – Lost Memories Part 2 & Park 3. Lost Memories Part 2 and Part 3, developed by Corey Martin, are part of a three-pack DLC that expands Bonfire Peaks, a grid-based block-pushing puzzle game.
Both the Part 2 and Part 3 DLC for Bonfire Peaks – Lost Memories are now available across all platforms, including PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, along with PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. For a limited time, the developer is offering a 40% discount on the title as well.
Spooky Express
Draknek & Friends also gave us a first look at their brand-new title, Spooky Express. In this puzzle game, you must plan the route for the world’s spookiest theme park. You will transport monsters to their destinations, but you need to make sure that they do not bite the passengers, or else you will have a grave problem.
