There is a handful of Potions in Hogwarts Legacy that you can brew and use for their various effects. Although not many, each Potion provides its benefit but first requires you to brew them using the ingredients that a Potion recipe calls for. Increases your defense by covering you with a rocky layer |
| Thunderbrew Potion | Can be purchased from J. Pippin’s Potions located in Hogsmeade |
|
Creates a storm that protects you from nearby enemies. Enemies caught in the storm will take damage and will be stunned. |
| Maxima Potion | Can be purchased from J. Pippin’s Potions located in Hogsmeade |
|
Damage from your spells is increased for some time. |
| Focus Potion | Can be purchased form J. Pippin’s Potions located in Hogsmeade |
|
Spell cooldown is reduced |
| Felix Felicis | DLC item from the Deluxe Edition of the game. |
|
Increases your success rate, and shows you hidden locations of big loot chests, highlighted on your minimap. The effects of the potion will last for a day in the game. |
