Everspace 2 has launched in Steam Early Access and is available for space shooter fans on GOG Games and GeForce Now. Interested players can get access to the first 25 hours of Everspace 2 gameplay.
Since Everspace 2 launch in Steam Early Access, the game sat at the top of worldwide steam top sellers for two days, while it currently remains in the top 10 sellers on Steam. After the Early Access release, Rockfish Games has announced that the game is available on Nvidia GeForce NOW.

EVERSPACE 2’s start in Early Access and GiD exceeded our wildest expectations. So far, we’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback from fans and press all over the world. After we started Early Access with more than 260,000 wishlist entries on Steam, we were very confident, however, we would never have dared to dream that we would land at number 1 in the worldwide Steam Charts in no time. After a few hours, we saw over 3,000 simultaneous players which is more than double the record of the lower-priced, original EVERSPACE in its first big sale.
With currently 94% positive reviews, we seem to have hit the bull’s-eye with tens of thousands of space shooter fans. We are super grateful for tens of thousands daring space pilots pulling the trigger on an unusually high-priced Early Access game, which is a heart-warming reward for all the hard work, love and dedication our talented team poured into this initial release version, despite everyone working from home since March, last year. There’s a lot for EVERSPACE fans to look forward to as we work towards release in 2022. We plan to share our first roadmap within the next few days after we have browsed through all the community feedback on the initial release version of EVERSPACE 2.
Everspace 2 continues the story of Adam Roslin after the first title in the series. The game has two sprawling star systems that can be freely explored by space pilots. You will get to experience Adam’s emotional journey and personal development from an immortal clone space pilot to an individual of character whose death has final consequences.
ROCKFISH Games delivered an absolute blast of a sequel with EVERSPACE 2 and we have its wonderful Accolades Trailer to prove it, alongside the Incursions Update, the teaser trailer for its Drake: Gang Wars update, Xbox Game Pass arrival trailer, Zharkov: The Vortex Update, First Early Access Update trailer, detailed roadmap reveal, Early Access Preview, and Early Access Launch announcement trailer. EVERSPACE 2 started its journey as a Kickstarter project during which it showcased in-game locations, HOTAS support, exclusive Closed Beta, gameplay trailers, Closed Alpha, and Concept Art.
Its Early Access launch was delayed on two separate occasions, one in March 2020 and then again in November 2020. Its Kickstarter campaign had a massive goal of $493,000 which was achieved on its final campaign day. The developer kept gamers in the loop with a regular influx of new information during this period. We were lucky enough to get our hands on an early access prototype of the game back in May 2020 for our preview.
