Destiny Child Returns with New Idle RPG DESTINY CHILD ASSEMBLE, Launching in 2027

DESTINY CHILD: ASSEMBLE

Com2uS has unveiled DESTINY CHILD: ASSEMBLE, a new mobile idle RPG that marks the return of the Destiny Child franchise. The company has opened a teaser website for the upcoming title as part of the IP’s 10th anniversary celebrations, with a global launch planned for iOS and Android in the first half of 2027.

Developed by Tikitaka Studio, a Com2uS subsidiary, and published globally by Com2uS, the game is based on the original IP from SHIFT UP. It will continue the franchise’s existing storyline and universe while introducing new narratives alongside familiar characters and stories. The official teaser can be seen on the official website.

DESTINY CHILD: ASSEMBLE is designed around an idle RPG structure, integrating individual character stories into its collection and progression systems. The game will feature the original main storyline and side stories, while aiming to make the experience more accessible and convenient for players. Com2uS says the development team intends to preserve the characters and distinctive appeal that helped establish the original game’s following.

The title’s use of “ASSEMBLE” refers to the reunion of the Archfiend candidates, the designation given to players in the original game. It also reflects the developers’ intention to reconnect with fans who have been waiting for the franchise’s return.

The newly launched teaser site features the game’s first video, which references the original title through the Hades Flower, a sacred relic associated with bringing new life to beings in the Destiny Child universe. Its appearance serves as a symbolic introduction to the franchise’s revival, accompanied by dialogue hinting at a reunion with players.

Originally known for its presentation and large character roster, Destiny Child built a dedicated following with more than 500 characters and its use of Live2D technology across all of its content. DESTINY CHILD: ASSEMBLE will look to carry that identity into a new format when it launches globally in the first half of 2027.

Com2uS has not yet shared further details about the game’s release date or gameplay systems. Updates are expected through the title’s teaser website and official X channel.
