Capcom will Host Resident Evil 2 Launch Livestream on January 22

Capcom will host a special launch livestream to celebrate the launch of their upcoming Resident Evil 2 game on January 22, 2018. The livestream will air from Japan and some lucky fans will be able to join Capcom during this special livestream event.

During this event, Capcom will show new details about the game which have never been seen before and some more live gameplay. During the livestream, game developers will also join in for some live chat with the fans all around the world.

The event will take place at the Tokyo-to Chuo Ward Event Hall and will happen during the time frame 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Japan time. Fans can join in the livestream to see the new details about the game and ask questions from the developers about the development of the game and their post-launch plans for the game.

Fans in Japan can also join in the fun and apply to attend the special livestream event and get some cool merchandise. If you want to apply for it, simply head over here to try your luck. Winners will be contacted via email on January 11, 2019.

Those selected will be able to join the livestream where they will be given a special gift hamper with many goodies. They will include a package of tofu by Otokomae Tofu, a USB wristband, a clear file and two posters of exclusive Biohazard Ambassador members.

Developers present during the livestream will include Director Kazunori Kadoi, Director Yasuhiro Ampo, Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, and Producer Tsuyoshi Kanda. They will answer fan questions and show more details about Resident Evil 2. Apart from them, Moga Mogami will be present as a special guest as well.

This will be the final event before the launch of Resident Evil 2 and fans of the series can expect for major announcements at this event apart from getting to know more details about the game such as new screenshots, new details and new live gameplay.

Resident Evil 2 will launch on January 25, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
