Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Broken Arms Games have announced that BioEden will launch on September 3 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The cozy nature management game invites players to restore life to a barren planet through exploration, resource management, and ecosystem building.
Ahead of launch, players can already get an early look at the game through a playable demo on Steam, which introduces the core mechanics that will form the foundation of the full experience.
In BioEden, players are tasked with transforming a lifeless world into a thriving ecosystem. Rather than focusing on industrial expansion, the game centers on environmental restoration, encouraging players to carefully balance resources, develop new areas, and nurture wildlife as they gradually bring nature back to the planet.
The Steam demo includes the game’s tutorial along with an early slice of gameplay. Players can experiment with exploration, base building, resources and space management, and caring for animals while learning how the different systems interact. The demo is designed to provide a preview of the game’s relaxed, nature-focused progression before its full release.
BioEden joins a growing lineup of cozy management games that emphasize creativity and sustainability over combat, combining city-building and simulation mechanics with an environmental theme. As players expand their settlement, they’ll need to make strategic decisions about how to allocate resources while creating habitats capable of supporting wildlife and restoring the surrounding landscape.
