Plethora Project’s upcoming cozy community builder, Common’hood is planned for a release later this year in 2022. The game got a new trailer last month, which was a developer video showcases how you can build your own down-and-out community into a thriving hub.
Watch the Common’hood developer trailer below:
You begin by discovering an abandoned factory that is already inhabited by a community of people, fallen on hard times. You need to work together with the residents to forge and design a new forever home.
Survival and building a shelter is key here, whether you grow food so that nobody goes hungry, design and craft intricate and unique buildings, or connect with fellow community members by meeting their needs. The shelter can be changed and shaped depending on what your community desires. As you progress in the story, you will forge deeper relationships with the residents to help shape its image.
As for the release details of the Common’hood, Plethora Project has revealed that it plans to launch the game later this year with multiplayer support, providing players a 4-player co-op extension of the game’s sandbox environment. This will allow you along with other players to work together with friends, and build incredible creations and share them with the community online. Players will also be able to upload their creations to their single-player games for personal use.
