The annual Sunfest event has returned to Trove, bringing a new questline and a fresh batch of collectible rewards for players. The limited-time event is available now and runs through July 21.
This year’s Sunfest centers around rebuilding the Radiant Standards, ancient seals that protect the realm from the Shadows. After speaking with Patrolsly in the Hub, players will team up with the Dragon Houses of Panatea, Carys, and Tysorion to gather materials needed to restore the damaged standards.
The event includes several objectives, including clearing Sunfest Cake Dungeons, collecting Somber Souls, defeating Pinata Invaders, and repairing 11 Radiant Standards in the Radiant Ruins.
- Clear Sunfest Cake Dungeons for House Panatea to gather Fluxyattium
- Collect Somber Souls for House Carys and refine them into Flux d’Cat
- Defeat Pinata Invaders for House Tysorion to recover Flux mk. II
- Travel to the Radiant Ruins and repair 11 Radiant Standards
Completing the main questline rewards players with the new Spunky Speaker Ally. Additional event activities can also unlock several exclusive collectibles, including the Carysian Cruisers wings, the Radiant Unifier flying mount, and the Radiant Beaconier Ally, along with other event rewards.
- Carysian Cruisers: Wings that increase flight speed in the Radiant Ruins biome
- Radiant Unifier: A flying Mount equipped with cannon fireworks
- Radiant Beaconier: An Ally ready to brighten any adventure
Trove is a free-to-play voxel-based MMO that combines dungeon crawling, exploration, loot collection, and building mechanics across a variety of procedurally generated worlds. Since its launch, the game has continued to receive seasonal events and regular content updates.
The Sunfest event is live now and will remain available until July 21. Trove is available on PC via Steam and the official launcher, as well as PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
