Publisher gamigo has announced the launch of the new Lunar Plunge event for its MMORPG Trove. The new Lunar Plunge event is now live in Trove and it will end on August 23, at 11:00 UTC. In Lunar Plunge, the twisted wolves of Q’bthulhu have invaded the game world and those brave enough to face them can visit Lunarsly to purchase all of his available rewards. You will get to join Lunar Knighted Qubesly in the Hub and assist High Priest Lunavic and Tauri in their fight against Q’bthulhu.
Everyone jumping in the event can complete an eight-step quest chain where you will come face-to-face with Shadowbound Wolves, Chaosbound Wolves, and The Alpha. The Shadowbound and Chaosbound Wolves can be defeated by normal means of thwacking them with weapons and abilities, The Alpha requires the power of Solar Seals in order to defeat it. If you manage to save enough wolves during the event, you will unlock a tamed mount version of the beast as well.
During the event, the in-game store will also offer the brand-new Wild Wolf Pack which contains a magrider, mounts, costumes, allies, and much more that will assist you in your fight against Q’bthulhu and his corrupted wolves. Trove is an open-ended voxel adventure through countless realms filled with enemies, chests, quests, and more. The game plays out like any other MMORPG however the worlds in the game are procedurally-generated which makes every run through the game a unique one.
Trove previously held its Sunfest event, and its major update Sunrise arrived earlier as well. At this point, Lunar Plunge is live on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC and it will remain live until August 23, 2022. Additional information is available on the official website of the game.
