Tactical FPS Ready or Not Console Release Window Announced

Developer and publisher VOID Interactive has revealed the console release window for its tactical FPS Ready or Not during the Galaxies Showcase. Announced during the inaugural Galaxies Showcase, the developer announced that Ready or Not will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store in Summer 2025. To commemorate the announcement, we got to see a brand-new cinematic announcement trailer at the showcase.

The console version of Ready or Not will see players entering the world of Los Suenos. The crime is at its highest rate, and it has severely depleted LSPD resources, which is threatening to overwhelm the department’s ability to maintain order. In response to this, the department is mobilizing its Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams to respond to high-threat scenarios such as bomb threats, barricaded suspects, and high-risk hostage situations to minimize any further police casualties.

Just in time for the console launch, the developers are also releasing the Stories from Los Suenos free DLC, which includes two new single-player or online cooperative missions. The console version of Ready or Not will feature the following content at launch:

20 single-player or online cooperative missions with up to five players
2 new missions as part of the Stories from Los Sueños free DLC update
PC players will have access to the new missions in a free update day and date with the console launch
2 DLCs that introduce 6 additional levels, and in, Dark Waters DLC, the UH-60 support Helicopter
Dozens of options to customize a player’s entire SWAT team, including armour, weapons, apparel, and more.
Immersive tactical gameplay, full flexibility of approach, and authentic equipment that SWAT teams utilize in the field.

Console pre-orders for Ready or Not are now live, across PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, for the game’s physical and digital versions, and you can select from three different versions:

In Ready or Not, you will jump into high-risk and realistic scenarios as highly trained SWAT teams. Your main tasks will be to defuse situations involving hostages, active bomb threats, and barricaded suspects. Ready or Not is already available on PC via Steam, where you can grab the game at a 50% discount for a limited time.
