Super Rare Games has revealed their next limited edition release and arriving just in time for Halloween, Darkwood is getting a physical release for Nintendo Switch. This new release comes as part of Super Rare Games’ partnership with Acid Wizard Studio and Crunching Koalas to bring this brilliant top-down survival horror in physical form to the Nintendo Switch.
Darkwood is also a limited edition and only 5,000 copies will be made worldwide. Sales will begin on October 8, 2020, at 6 PM BST and it will set you back $31. The limited-edition physical release will be available exclusively at Super Rare Games. Unlike most of the limited-edition releases, Super Rare Games has games ready to ship out when orders go live so fans do not have to wait long for their limited-edition physical copies to arrive with them.
According to Super Rare Games’ press release, ever since its reveal earlier this year, Darkwood has been one of their most asked games all year and now it is finally arriving this month. The physical release will include the full game on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and three trading cards randomly selected from the five-card set.
