Super Rare Games is known for its brilliant physical releases for digital-only games and we’ve seen some of the best releases by them in the past days. For their latest release, Super Rare Games has announced a physical release for the crazy shoot ’em up, smash ’em up, and punch ’em up with the music-driven, side-scrolling shooter Freedom Finger.
The new release comes from a brand new partnership of Super Rare Games with Wide Right Games to bring this crazy cartoon action game in physical form for the very first time to Nintendo Switch. Staying true to its limited-edition physical release, SRG will only release 4000 copies worldwide and pre-orders will open on September 17, 2020, at 10 am PT. The game will set you back around $31 and the pre-orders will be exclusively live at SuperRareGames.com.
The game was announced earlier this year however it has now been revealed as part of the company’s #SuperRareWeek campaign. It is one of their most-anticipated titles for this year. The physical release will include all of the game content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and three trading cards randomly selected from the five-card set. Freedom Finger is a classic shmup title that combines melee combat and shooter mechanics in one game. You fly a ship that is shaped like a giant hand and you can perform all actions of a hand as well. You can punch, grab, and shoot your enemies and you can even grab your enemies and use their weapons as your own weapons against the enemies.
