Subnautica 2 Entangled Power Cell Guide – How to Get

Entangled Power Cell Subnautica 2

This Subnautica 2 Entangled Power Cell Guide shows how to obtain the Upgraded Power Cell in the game for our energy needs. The Entangled Power Cell is a stronger version of the standard power cell used in vehicles. Since it provides long-lasting power, it can help reduce the need for frequent battery replacements during exploration. To unlock it, you will need to scan the required fragments.

Entangled Power Cell Guide – Subnautica 2

To begin, progress through the main story until you reach the Alien Ruins area and unlock access to the Research Outpost. This location serves as the starting point for finding the Entangled Power Cell blueprint.

From the entrance of the Research Outpost, travel east toward the fragment location. The area is 509 metres away from the Research Outpost. The area is not too difficult to find, and placing a beacon can make navigation easier.

As you move down into the Angel comb area, look straight for a raised platform connected to a wire or zipline structure. Near this platform, you will find the first Entangled Power Cell fragment. A second fragment can be found close by in the same platform area. Scan both fragments to unlock the blueprint.

Materials Required

After unlocking the blueprint, you will need several resources to craft the Entangled Power Cell. These include Conduit Crystals, Strong Acid, Gold Ingots, and 2 Troilite.

Where to Find Conduit Crystals

The Angel comb region contains several spawn locations for Conduit Crystals. While exploring around the area, check near large rock pillars and elevated platforms. These crystals can appear in multiple spots, and their spawning is random.

Another useful area can be found by facing west from the Angel comb and searching around nearby structures and ledges. Continuing northeast along the same route may also lead you to additional crystal spawns. In some cases, the crystals appear directly on the sandy seabed.

How to Get Troilite

Once you have searched for Conduit Crystals, continue northeast from the same area until you reach a green lagoon-like area. Here, you will notice green ore deposits scattered around the environment.

These deposits contain Troilite, but they cannot be collected by hand. You will need a Sonic Resonator to break them apart. After destroying the deposits, you can gather the Troilite they drop and continue collecting until you have enough for crafting.

Farming Gold

Gold can be found in several places near the Research Outpost. As you explore the route, keep an eye out for red glowing mineral deposits. These areas often contain multiple pieces of gold.

One particularly useful location is directly beneath the Research Outpost itself. There is a red glowing resource area below the base where a large amount of gold can be collected. If you are short on gold, this is one of the best places to search.

Crafting the Entangled Power Cell

After collecting all required materials, head to the crafting station and create the Entangled Power Cell.

Once crafted, installing it is straightforward. Go to your vehicle, such as the Tadpole, access the power cell slot, and replace the existing battery with the new Entangled Power Cell. After installation, your vehicle will benefit from the upgraded power cell.
