This Phantom Blade Zero guide details where you can find the Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp Gate Key. The Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp has a locked gate that requires a special key to open. Although you can spot the key near the top of the tower early on, reaching it requires an ability obtained by defeating a boss elsewhere on the map. This guide explains where to find that ability and how to return for the key.
Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp Key Guide – Phantom Blade Zero
Start by making your way towards the Sha-Chi Tower location on the first map. When you arrive, progress through the area, cross the bridge, and reach the large tower.
Once inside, follow the staircases upwards. The route winds around the structure, so keep climbing and use the available platforms to reach the next sections.
Continue past the staircase around the corner, then turn left and climb the final set of stairs. This will bring you to a resting point where you will come across an NPC. Speak with him and collect the quest he offers.
From here, continue climbing towards the top of the tower.
Eventually, you will see an item waiting on a higher platform. This is the key required to unlock the Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp gate.
However, you won’t be able to reach it just yet. You first need to obtain the Hunter’s Chain Sickle, a Phantom Edge required to access the upper section. To get the required Phantom Edge, you have to find and defeat the boss known as The Hunt.
From the tower area, avoid taking the ladder all the way down. Instead, jump onto the pipes below and carefully make your way across them. Try to position your jumps properly so you land on the pipes without falling.
As you move along, you will come across an item that you can collect from one of the pipes. Pick it up before continuing. Further ahead, you will encounter an enemy carrying a hand crank for the Tower Forge. You can deal with this enemy along the way, but your main objective is to reach the boss.
Continue down the path and look for a bridge in the distance. Cross it to reach the area where you will encounter The Hunt. Defeat the boss to obtain the Hunter’s Chain Sickle.
Once you have the Hunter’s Chain Sickle, return to the upper section of Sha-Chi Tower where you previously spotted the key.
Look up towards the item and use the available button prompt to reach it. This will enable you to collect the Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp Gate Key.
With the key now collected, return to the locked gate in the lower section of the tower.
Use the key to open the entrance and gain access to the Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp. Once inside, activate the fast-travel point so you can easily return to this area later and explore everything it has to offer.
