Publisher Merge Games has announced the release of the first major update of Smalland: Survive the Wilds since its early access release. Dubbed ‘The Giant’s Fall’, the latest update opens the doors to the next story chapter along with introducing two new NPCs, new map areas, a deadly new enemy, additional weapons and armor sets, metal building materials, and more. With the new update, you will be able to journey deep into the ruins of Giant’s Fall Chapel and brave the creeping, crawling dark of the Crypt in pursuit of ancient relics which will reveal the next chapter of the story. The new chapter is set in these new areas where you will come across two brand new NPCs: the Historian and the Merchant.
You will also find the swarming Colony Spiders here which is the latest enemy added to the game with the new update. You will also find a new Hornet mount which can be used on old enemies to tame them. The new pyrite resource will allow you to craft a new armor set and weapon and trade it with the merchant for new metal building parts. This further expands the world of Smallands with new options for your to explore and create in the game. Additional updates are also planned for the future however their details will be revealed later.

Smalland: Survive the Wilds is currently available on PC in early access via Steam and Epic Games Store.
