Skybound Games and NMC Studios have announced that Season 2 of their vehicular battle royale game notmycar is now available to play for free on Steam Early Access. notmycar is one of the most unique takes on the battle royale genre as it puts you inside a vehicle equipped with weapons and you duke it out with other players for survival.
Starting today, Season 2 adds brand new content to the game which includes new car classes and a brand new car ‘The Clementine’ inspired by Telltale’s The Walking Dead game. Players can unlock this new car for free until August 2, 2019, by jumping into the game and playing it. A brand new supercar Ligar has also been added to the game to celebrate the release of Season 2 which means that players have more cars to destroy now.
Season 2 also brings with it tons of other content and most importantly numerous technical improvements in the game. All major updates have been done in the game based on fan feedback that the developers have been listening to ever since the game was released on Steam Early Access back in April 2019. We really hope that the game is in a better position than it was at the release because it looks like it has some serious potential.

The developers have also worked on the lobbies to ensure that the game is now faster to play. Special work has been done on matchmaking to ensure that players do not have to wait a long time to jump in games. Matches are also much bigger now with up to 40 players jumping in the same game. Major additions in Season 2 for notmycar include:
- New Car Classes: Drive a growing roster of vehicles, with each class having its specialties to match your playing style.
- New Vehicle – The LIGAR: Take the wheel of this red-hot, faster-than-lightning supercar.
- New Personalization – Access over 300 vehicle skins, horns, flags, and drones to customize your vehicle.
- Faster Matchmaking: Find other players more quickly than ever!
- Bigger Matches: Now compete against up to 40 other players at a time.
- The Clementine – Face off on the battlefield using The Clementine, a new car inspired by Telltale’s The Walking Dead. Available for free until August 2, 2019, using code: CLEMENTINE on the Store redemption screen.
notmycar is a really unique battle royale game as you will be driving high-speed cars equipped with weapons and shields to survive until the very end. Players duke it out on an ever-shrinking map using weapons and the winner is the one who survives all the way to the end. If you still have to try out notmycar and you are a battle royale, I will recommend that you at least try the game once.
