Rumor: PlayStation 5 Console Will be Twice as Thick as Compared to PS4

PlayStation 5 console

A rumor by an online leaker suggests that the upcoming PlayStation 5 console will be twice as thick as compared to the current PS4 console. The rumor also mentions that the design of the console will be totally different from what the predictions have been showing so far, hinting that all previous rumors and leaks were probably fake themselves.

A recent report by a Russian website by the name of Gamemag has allegedly sad that they have got their information about the console from an American developer who was working a PlayStation 5 game. This can be true as the developers might already have the console as they are probably developing the game for the consumers.

The report mentions that the next-gen console will be a more traditional design, quashing any rumors of Sony copying the tower structure design similar to the Xbox Series X. The second part of the details comes as no surprise and nobody in their right mind would think of Sony trying to make a similar looking console.

Besides the physical appearance of the console, the report also mentions that there is additional detail about the console which is very unusual and that Sony has not revealed yet. The reason for not revealing the detail in the leaked information will allow Sony to easily track the source, which is why it is not being mentioned. However, the report adds that Sony has previously mentioned the detail but no one ever picked it up.

Whatever the console will look like, we are just a few days away from its official reveal this week on June 4. We are finally going to be getting a look at the console after many delays and secrecy surrounding the console and its features.
