Moon Studios has revealed that No Rest for the Wicked will leave Early Access and launch its full 1.0 release in October, simultaneously on PS5 and PC via Steam. Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are also in the works but will arrive at a later date. The announcement was made during Sony’s State of Play, alongside a new trailer for the dark action-RPG.
The game has sold over 1.8 million copies during its Early Access period on PC, where it is currently available with a limited-time 30% discount. Players who purchase the game on PC before July 10, 2026, will receive a free Early Access Founder’s Pack, with rewards unlocking at the 1.0 launch. PS5 players can get the same pack by pre-ordering before launch day.
The Founder’s Pack includes a hand-crafted hideout called Spirit Cavern, an exclusive sword called Sayer’s Vow that only early adopters can pull from the stone in-game, a custom Founders Tag, and access to an exclusive post-launch Beta Test Realm reserved for founders.

The 1.0 release is shaping up to be a significant expansion of what Early Access players have experienced so far. Moon Studios is promising over 60 hours of new content, covering more than 15 hand-crafted regions, a new horde mode, a completely rebuilt class and progression system, new weapons, bosses, and enemies, and the final story arc that players have been speculating about since the game launched in 2024. Persistent multiplayer lets players share private realms that continue to evolve even when the realm’s creator is offline, and full crossplay and cross-save between PC and console will be supported at launch.
No Rest for the Wicked comes from Moon Studios, the team behind Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Players take on the role of a Cerim, a member of a holy order, tasked with stopping an ancient plague consuming the island of Isola Sacra. Since its Early Access launch, the game has received several major updates adding co-op multiplayer, PvP duels, and expanded combat options.
No Rest for the Wicked is currently available on PC via Steam in Early Access. The 1.0 launch, along with the PS5 version, is slated for release in October 2026. A confirmed release date will be announced closer to the launch. The developer is also working on an Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.
