Sandbox Adventure Game Necesse’s New Update Brings Endgame Content

Necesse Update

Developer Fair Games and publisher Hooded Horse have announced the release of the latest major update for their sandbox adventure game Necesse. The new update is an important milestone for Necesse as it adds the first wave of end-game content for the game. It features new endgame incursions, magic-based loadouts, and the ability to take NPCs on expeditions. Players will also find new tracks to listen to while they are trying out the new content in the game. To celebrate the release of the new content, Hooded Horse has released the latest gameplay trailer for Necesse as well. Check it out below:

The major highlight of the new update is the addition of endgame content to the game where you will be able to fight a powerful wizard and secure tablets. These tablets will allow you to construct altars where you can look for new mission types and biomes. As you explore these new areas, you will encounter new bosses, weapons, and gear. This is just the start of the endgame content as the developer is teasing additional endgame content to arrive in the game soon as well. This will include new zone mechanics as well.

If you are playing Necesse solo, you can also invite local settlers to join your party and go on expeditions. You will need to feed these people and they can use potions as well. However, the more NPCs you take on expeditions, the bosses and normal enemies will become stronger to scale. Ten brand-new music tracks are also part of the update. If you prefer using magic, you can now use magic weapons and gear in your loadouts. All magic weapons and gear have also been rebalanced and consume mana now. New trinkets and potions will also assist in mana generation from now on.

  • A new Miner settler that can go on mining trips that’ll make acquiring precious ores easier
  • A Cartographer Table for sharing maps with other players
  • Better island generation with more natural formations
  • New buffs for settlers from food
  • And more balancing and quality-of-life tweaks

The complete patch list for all changes and additions is available on the official post. Necesse is currently available on PC via Steam in Early Access, and you can also add the game to your wishlist if you want to join in the game at a later stage.
