Magical Realist Adventure Game OPUS: Prism Peak to Debut at Tokyo Game Show 2024

Tokyo-based publisher Shueisha Games and developer SIGONO have announced that their upcoming magical realist adventure, OPUS: Prism Peak, will be showcased at the Tokyo Game Show from September 26 to 29, 2024. As the fourth entry in the acclaimed OPUS series, Prism Peak continues the franchise’s tradition of blending narrative-driven gameplay with an evocative art style that resonates with both Eastern and Western audiences.

OPUS: Prism Peak invites you to step into the shoes of a weary photographer who finds himself trapped in a mysterious, ethereal realm while on a journey back to his hometown. To escape, he must confront his past and learn to make peace with it, using his camera as a tool to capture the moments that hold him back. Along his path, he encounters numerous spirits, including a mysterious young girl who seems to hold the key to his escape. However, the true nature of her intentions remains a mystery, leaving you to decide whether to trust her guidance or seek their way out.

The game’s art style is one of its standout features, characterized by a soft, warm color palette that perfectly complements the heartwarming yet introspective themes explored throughout the series.
