Developer Mojang Studios has announced that Minecraft Dungeons Howling Peaks DLC will be released next month on December 9 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The announcement for the DLC was made in a blog post on the Minecraft website. In addition to the new DLC, the game will also be getting a Season Pass, confirmed by the blog post.

The Minecraft Dungeons Howling Peaks DLC is quite the action-packed trek to the mountaintop featuring tons of new items. This includes new armor, weapons, and of course, artifacts, But that is not all of it, there are new enemies such as the Squall Golem and Mountaineer waiting for you to face them.

As you reach the top of the mountain, you will find a stormy conflict, where the Tempest Golem has been corrupted by a shard from the Orb of Dominance. More information about the DLC and its features will be shared very soon, while the blog notes that everyone should look at the Minecraft Dungeons Twitter account for more reveals.

On the topic of the new Season Pass which was also announced in the blog post, the new Season Pass will give you access to the next DLCs whenever they are launched, and this includes the announced Howling Peaks DLC. In addition, you will get them at a discount compared to buying each DLC separately, which is something not new with how Season Passes work in other games too.

Having said that, you shouldn’t miss out on any of the DLC as they will contain new items, levels, new parts of the story, and even more puzzles and mysteries to unlock. If you decide not to buy the Howling Peaks DLC or the Season Pass, you can still avail the free content that will also be rolling out in the game. The free content will give you six free enchantments, which can change the game.
