Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Music PS Plus Review

Publisher DON’T NOD has shared new details for its upcoming episodic game Lost Records: Bloom & Rage which revealed its PS Plus launch. The announcement was made during Sony’s State of Play where we got to see some more of the game ahead of its launch next week. The publisher is also teaming up with Kid Katana to bring the game’s official soundtrack on vinyl and fans can pre-order theirs right now. Accompanied curated playlists are also now live for music fans who want to stream the soundtrack instead.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will be included in the PS Plus game catalog for Extra and Premium members. The game will also launch with a 10% discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers until March 4, ahead of its first chapter’s release on February 18. Set across two timelines, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage follows a group of high school girls as they form an unbreakable bond over a summer in the ’90s, only to face a life-altering mystery that unfolds years later. The game explores themes of identity, rebellion, and self-discovery, weaving an emotional and nostalgic narrative experience.

The double vinyl features two distinct color schemes—transparent pink for “Bloom” and transparent blue for “Rage”—and comes with a punk-inspired poster. The soundtrack is an 18-track dream pop and ambient album, headlined by the explosive punk anthem See You in Hell and featuring three prominent female-led groups: Ruth Radelet, formerly of Chromatics, alongside Nat Walker and Adam Miller; the Montréal-based electropop duo Milk & Bone; and the rising alt-country band, Nora Kelly Band.

The official soundtrack will also be available on Steam for $9.99 at launch, with the second half releasing as a free update alongside Tape 2. A special bundle featuring both the game and the soundtrack will offer a 10% discount until March 4, with an additional 10% off for purchasing them together. Curated playlists reflecting the musical tastes of each main character are now available.

The selections provide insight into the personalities of the four protagonists, blending tracks from their 1990s teenage years with music they would listen to in the 2020s. Swann’s playlist is composed of movie soundtracks, dream pop, and chill/lofi tunes, while Autumn’s includes video game music, chiptune, and ambient tracks. Nora leans towards goth rock and punk, and Kat’s playlist embraces rock, punk, and grunge, capturing the rebellious spirit that defines their band, Bloom & Rage.

Players will uncover the secrets of Lost Records through two chapters: Bloom, launching on February 18, and Rage, arriving on April 15, on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
