
Publisher Wired Productions and developer Angry Demon Studio have released the latest trailer for their upcoming title Gori: Cuddly Carnage. The trailer was showcased at The Mix Event hosted by Media Indie Exchange, and it featured new environments, enemies, and combat traversal mechanics along with story details. You can see the comic book-style storytelling and the visual art style of Gori: Cuddly Carnage in the latest trailer below before we jump into additional details:
The trailer also gives us a sneak peek at another grotesque and twisted boss creatures that we will be fighting in the game when it comes out. The combat is filled with high-energy and visceral blood-soaked as Gori battles against a rampart A.I. hell-bent on ending his 9 lives as he slaughters armies of mutated toys across a twisted world full of arcade machines. To defeat your enemies, you will unleash devastating combos, glory kills, and powerful charged abilities including the slamwheel and rocket shots to take the mutated toy hordes to pieces.
Gori: Cuddly Carnage is developed in Unreal Engine 5 and managed to win the Epic MegaGrant during its development. It is a third-person, ultra-violent hack ‘n’ slash game set in a neon world. You will experience the multi-layered story of Gori filled with vivid and immersive environments whilst performing gnarly acrobats in a brutal combat experience filled with high-speed and intense destruction. Along your journey, you will hang out with F.R.A.N.L.. the razor-sharp hoverboard, and the CH1-P, the depressed modular AI that is constantly complaining while you are wiping out enemies.
Gori: Cuddly Carnage is slated for release on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Additional details such as a confirmed release date will be revealed in the coming weeks and months. You can currently add the game to your PC wishlist via Steam where you can also download and play a free demo of the game. This demo will give you a small taste of what you can expect from the full game when it comes out.
