A new story trailer of Fortnite Season 10 has just been released, and it shows a lot of the classic items from the early days of Fortnite. This includes Dusty Depot back in its old form with the three hangar-type structure, prior to being partially destroyed by the meteor that crashed in Season 4.
The trailer also features the classic Tactical SMG, which is also another highly requested weapon that fans were wanting to see. If you are wondering what all this means, Epic could be bringing a cataclysmic event themed season.

After the teaser, the story trailer provided the much-needed information about the new season. We can see that after the explosion over the Vault, Jonesy is transported into a void that is filled with all the classic items. We see an old dinosaur, the rocket launch along with the rift crack. There is also the appearance of Peely, along with a meteor shower that we experienced back in Season 3 prior to the crash landing of the large meteor.
Jonesy can then be seen transported into what seems to be the old map, right before the meteor is about to crash into Dusty Depot. Having said that, we still don’t know what this means, however, many players have started speculating that the game might include some sort of a classic map mode or items and weapons being brought back this season.

In any case, we are going to find out pretty soon as the new season of Fortnite is just a few hours away. The downtime for the game begins on 1 August at 1 am PDT. Epic Games has already stated that the patch sizes for Season 10 will be larger than normal on all platforms, and the downtime with be longer than usual, where it could take 4 hours for the season to actually go live. The scheduled downtime is set from 1 am to 4 am PDT.
Epic Games has been teasing Season 10 for some time now. The first teaser showed us Dusty Depot, while the second teaser showed us a new mech. A third and latest teaser released yesterday us the mysterious orb about to explode over the vault.
