Cris Tales Delayed into 2021 for Current, Next-Gen Consoles

Modus Games has announced that its upcoming JRPG Cris Tales has been delayed into 2021 and will not release on its previously announced November 17 release date. The new release window for Cris Tales has been announced for 2021 however the game will now release on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series consoles, PC, and Google Stadia.

Commenting on the delay, CEO Modus Games said:

The decision to delay was a tough one, but was made to ensure that the developers at Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK have a chance to bring the best version of Cris Tales to fans anxiously awaiting its release.

Apart from the publisher, the developers of the game Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK have also shared a personal message for the eagerly awaiting fans of Cris Tales on their official blog post. The developers are also holding an official AMA on October 16, 2020, at 12 PM PT on Reddit followed by an AMA on Discord. Fans looking forward to Cris Tales can now also opt for a retail version of the game along with a bonus game poster for all orders on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Cris Tales is a unique time-bending RPG where past, present, and future are brought together on one screen and you can use Crisbell’s amazing ability to slip between the three time periods, aiding citizens across Crystallis’ kingdoms and pushing enemies to specific points in time for an upper hand in battle. Originally revealed back at E3 2019, the game has developed quite a big following and has also won several accolades along the way.

Some prominent ones include Best Indie Game and its recent nomination for Best Indie Game and Best RPG at Gamescom 2020. A free demo is now available for you to download and try out the game on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Steam, and GOG.
