This Crimson Desert Tiger Mount Guide details how you can find and tame the tiger to keep it as a mount in the game. Getting a Tiger as a mount in Crimson Desert is a difficult task, and it gives you a powerful and unique companion to travel with. Before heading out to find the tiger, you will need to prepare a supply of meat. Once you reach the tiger’s territory, the process is quite simple. However, a few small mistakes can make it harder than it needs to be.
Tiger Mount Guide – Crimson Desert
The first thing you should do is gather enough meat for taming. One of the easiest places to buy it is in Hernand, where a local vendor sells several types of meat. You can either purchase the items directly from the nearby table or open the merchant’s shop menu and buy them there.

Different meats provide slightly different amounts of trust. Bird meat offers 35 trust increase, while the other meat options provide a bit more, to 40.
Finding the Tiger Location
After preparing your supplies, travel to the area east of Demeniss and north of Delesyia. The tiger can be found near the Giant’s Yard Research Group Watchtower. When viewing the map closely, you should notice a tiger icon marking the general location.
Use whichever fast travel point is most convenient and make your way toward the marked area. Once you arrive, check your map again to confirm you are in the correct spot.
Before engaging the tiger, consider creating a manual save. There are situations where nearby enemies can interfere with the encounter, and in some cases, the tiger may disappear unexpectedly. Having a save file ready can save you from repeating the entire journey.
Clearing the Area
When you reach the tiger pack, you may find several tigers roaming together. Trying to tame one while being attacked by the others can be frustrating, so it is often easier to reduce the number of threats around you first.
Be careful during this stage, especially if you want future tiger spawns to remain available. Sometimes spawning changes after defeating certain tigers, so avoid unnecessary kills.
Starting the Taming Process
Once you are ready, approach the tiger you want to tame and use Force Palm on it. The key is to use the ability carefully rather than repeatedly attacking. Apply a single hit, wait for the reaction, and continue patiently.
Eventually, the tiger will lower its head. This indicates that it can now be mounted. When the prompt appears, climb onto the tiger and move away from any nearby threats to make the next steps easier.
Building Trust with the Tiger
While riding the tiger, open your inventory and select any meat you purchased earlier. Choose the feed option to give the tiger food while remaining mounted.
Each feeding increases the tiger’s trust level. Repeat the process until the trust meter reaches its maximum value. If you accidentally fall off the tiger, don’t worry. Simply use Force Palm again until the riding prompt appears and continue feeding it.
One important thing to remember is not to spam Force Palm. Repeated attacks can trigger additional combat actions and may accidentally kill the tiger. This may force you to start the whole process over.
Claiming Your New Mount
After feeding the tiger enough times to reach full trust, a new option will appear that allows you to tame it permanently. Accept the prompt, and the tiger will become available as one of your mounts.
