This Crimson Desert Rock Tusk Warthog Mount Guide shows how you can get this powerful Warthog mount. If you want a unique and powerful-looking mount, the Rock Tusk Warthog, often called Pumba, is a great one to add to your collection. Getting it isn’t too complicated, but it does involve a full quest, a boss fight, and a crafting step.
Rock Tusk Warthog Mount Guide – Crimson Desert
To begin, head toward the eastern side of the map, which is between Demeniss and Crimson Desert, near Drywind Valley. From there, move up toward the region look like a Circle Water Pool on the map.
When you enter this area, you will encounter a group of hostile locals. Be ready for combat, because you will need to defeat multiple enemies before the main quest begins to progress.
Defeat Ravok of the Savage Fangs
As you clear enemies in the area, a quest will appear related to Ravok of the Savage Fangs, known as the “Monster of the Wetlands.” Continue fighting until this boss shows up.
The fight happens in two stages. First, you will battle him along with other enemies. After that phase, you can track him using a lantern trail that leads you away from the main area. Follow it, and he will return for a second, easier fight where you can defeat him one-on-one.
Get the Key Item
Once Ravok is defeated, a short scene will play, and you will receive a special item called the Rock Tusk Warthog Tusk. This is the main item needed to unlock the mount, but you are not done yet. You will need to craft the Sigil of Solidarity with it.
Visit the Witch to Craft the Mount
Now travel to the Witchwoods area, located southwest of Hernand, near Scholar Stone. Inside the witch’s house, speak to her and open the crafting menu.
Navigate to the special items section and use the tusk to craft the Sigil of Solidarity. This crafted item is what actually unlocks the mount.
Activate and Use the Mount
After crafting, check your inventory and use the Sigil. This will register the Rock Tusk Warthog as a mount.
From here, open your mount selection wheel, like the radial menu, and you will see the Warthog available. You can now summon and ride it whenever you want.
The process involves a bit of fighting and crafting, but once done, you get a unique mount that stands out from the rest. It is definitely worth picking up if you enjoy collecting mounts.
