This Crimson Desert Baby Wyvern Pet Guide details how you can find and get a baby wyvern as a pet. If you are looking for a unique companion to follow you on your adventures, the Baby Wyvern is one of the most interesting legendary pets that you can unlock. The process involves finding a hidden wyvern egg, placing it in the correct nest, and waiting for it to hatch. While it takes a little exploration, the method is very simple once you know where to go.
Baby Wyvern Pet Guide – Crimson Desert
At the start, travel to the Three Brothers Cliff region. The area you need to go to is located near the Wyvern’s Cradle and the Three Brothers Cliff Wyvern Nest. There are many fast travel points nearby that can get you close to the location. So use whichever one is most convenient.
If you have not cleared this area before, you may encounter enemies that need to be defeated first. Once the area is secured, make your way toward the nesting grounds. After arriving, head down into the lower section and look for a set of stairs leading toward a hidden entrance.

After taking the stairs, travel for a small distance until you see a blocked hidden path on your left.
Before you can access the location, you might need to interact with an NPC standing nearby. Speaking with this character causes them to disappear, allowing you to interact with the wall blocking the way. Use a Focus Bomb on the wall to open the entrance and gain access to the area.
Inside, you will find a chest and the thing you want the most, a Wyvern Egg. Pick up the egg and keep it in your inventory. If needed, you can store it temporarily before continuing.
Taking the Egg to the Nest
With the egg secured, leave the cave and head toward the nest area on the right side of the cliffs. Continue following the path until you reach a large nest.

Open your inventory and locate the Wyvern Egg. Select the option to use it, then place the egg directly in the center of the nest. If the placement is successful, the egg will begin to glow. This will confirm that everything has been done correctly.
Hatching the Baby Wyvern
Once the egg is in place, all that is left is to wait. The entire process takes roughly three to five minutes. After enough time has passed, a notification will appear prompting you to hatch the Wyvern Egg.
Interact with the egg when the prompt appears, and the hatching sequence will begin. Moments later, the Baby Wyvern will emerge and automatically become your new pet.
What the Baby Wyvern Does
After hatching, the Baby Wyvern immediately follows your character as an active companion. Although it does not participate in combat or attack enemies, it still provides a useful benefit during exploration and battles. The pet automatically gathers loot from defeated enemies, making it easier to collect rewards.
