This Crimson Desert White Wolf Mount Guide details how you can find and tame a Large White Wolf easily to keep it as a mount. The Large White Wolf is one of the striking mounts you can obtain in Crimson Desert. For this, you will need to track down a special wolf, earn its trust, and then tame it before it can join you on your adventures.
White Wolf Mount Guide – Crimson Desert
Before heading out to find the wolf, make sure you have enough meat in your inventory. A convenient place to purchase it is in Hernand, where a vendor sells several types of meat that can be used during the taming process.

You can buy the meat directly from the nearby table or interact with the merchant and purchase it through the shop menu. While bird meat provides a slightly lower trust of 35, most other meat options give a higher amount of trust of 40.
Travel to the White Wolf’s Territory
Once you are prepared, make your way to Pailune and head toward the Pailune Beacon. This is the area where the Large White Wolf can appear. If you have already unlocked a nearby fast travel location, use it to save some time.

After arriving, move toward the beacon and look in the direction of the mountains. The wolf does not always appear every time you visit the area, so don’t be surprised if you need to leave and return a few times. Fast traveling away and coming back can help refresh the area and potentially trigger the spawn.

If you are lucky, you will spot the large white wolf moving around with several regular wolves nearby.

Deal with the Wolf Pack
Before attempting to tame the white wolf, it is a good idea to create a save file. This gives you a backup in case something goes wrong during the encounter.
The white wolf is usually surrounded by other wolves. Eliminating the surrounding wolves makes the taming process much easier since you won’t be interrupted. Using explosive arrows can be particularly useful here because they help clear out the smaller wolves more efficiently while allowing you to avoid accidentally defeating the white wolf.
Earning the Wolf’s Trust
Once the white wolf is alone, begin using Force Palm on it. The goal is not to damage it repeatedly but to keep applying the effect until the wolf becomes submissive.
After some time, the wolf will lower its head and remain in that state for a moment. When this happens, a prompt will appear allowing you to ride it. Climb onto the wolf as soon as the option becomes available.
While mounted, open your inventory and locate your meat supply. Select a piece of meat and choose the feed option. Continue feeding the wolf until its trust reaches the maximum amount. Depending on the type of meat you are using, this will usually require several feedings. Keep an eye on the trust meter and repeat the process until it reaches 100%.
Registering the Large White Wolf
When the trust meter is filled, a new option will appear that allows you to tame the wolf permanently. Confirm the action, and the Large White Wolf will be added to your collection of mounts.
After registration, you can summon the wolf whenever you want and use it as your personal mount while exploring the world.
Getting a Saddle for the Wolf
If you want your new companion to look even better, you can purchase a special wolf saddle in Hernand. Head to the Saddler, located just above the town near the local fast travel point.
Open the vendor’s shop menu and browse through the available items until you find the wolf saddle. Purchase it and then open your inventory. Navigate to the special mount section, select the Large White Wolf, and open its equipment menu. From there, equip the saddle to complete the customization. The Large White Wolf can also assist during combat encounters, making it more than just a way to travel across the map.
