One of the main things to note from the reveal trailer and announcement is that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is being developed specifically for next-gen consoles and PC. This means that the developers do not have to worry about optimizing the title for PS4 or Xbox One and thus having to reduce visual fidelity or performance. We can expect the game to fully utilize the power of next-gen consoles and PC to deliver the most definitive gameplay experience when it comes out next year.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora features a standalone story in which you play as Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier. The Western Frontier is a never-before-seen part of Pandora, and you will get to explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters. You will push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten this beautiful world by using everything that Pandora has to offer you.
As of now, there is no confirmed release date for the game however it is slated for release in 2022. It will release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, and Luna.
