Publisher Epic Games and developer Remedy Entertainment have released the trailer called The Dark Place for the upcoming title Alan Wake 2. Alan Wake 2 is the long-awaited and highly anticipated sequel to the studio’s award-winning psychological thriller. The latest trailer dubbed ‘The Dark Place’ showcases the Dark Place which is an Alan Wake mission early in the game and it also gives us a look at some in-game mechanics such as Rewrite Reality, new characters, live-action cutscenes, and more.

In Alan Wake 2, Alan is trapped in a nightmare and is trying to write his way out. You will play as two different characters in the upcoming title, Alan Wake, the writer, and Saga Anderson, an FBI agent. Each of these two characters has their own stories however they both might be tied together in some way. Saga is risking her life to solve a deadly mystery of murders in the Pacific Northwest while Alan Wake is attempting to rewrite his reality to escape the depths of the Dark Place, a nightmare version of New York City.
You will get to explore two beautiful yet terrifying realities in Remedy Entertainment’s very first survival game. The original Alan Wake was critically acclaimed when it was released and managed to win multiple Game of the Year awards. The original Alan Wake also received a modern remaster called Alan Wake Remastered which is currently available on PC via Epic Games Store along with PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
