The good news is that there are plenty of deposits in the Alien Ruins region, and once you learn where to search, collecting them becomes much easier.

Before you can start gathering Celestine, you need to continue progressing through the main story until the Alien Ruins biome is unlocked. After reaching this location, head to the Research Outpost because this area works as the easiest reference point for finding the resource deposits.

Where to Find Celestine

Starting from the Research Outpost, move directly toward the east side of the area. The resource is located along the large mountain connected to the Research Outpost, so you do not need to travel too far away.

As you move east, begin descending deeper underwater. Most Celestine deposits start appearing around 250 meters deep or even lower. The best places to search are along the mountain walls, ledges, and the ocean floor beneath the outpost.

Once you reach the deeper section, look carefully around the sides of the mountain because several deposits are usually scattered close together.

Collecting the Celestine Deposits

Celestine cannot be collected by hand. To gather it, you must use a Sonic Resonator to destroy the deposits first. After breaking them apart, the resource pieces will drop and can then be picked up normally.

The area beneath the Research Outpost contains multiple deposits, so it is worth exploring the nearby areas and deeper sections instead of stopping after finding only one. You can often locate several of them within a short distance of each other.

Once you recognize the appearance of Celestine deposits, spotting them becomes far less difficult, especially around the mountain slopes below the outpost.
