Subnautica 2 Creature Enamel

This Subnautica 2 Guide details how you can find and farm Creature Enamel in the game easily. Creature Enamel is an important crafting material in Subnautica 2. If you are trying to make Enameled Glass for upgrades like the Tadpole Depth Module, then you should have the Creature Enamel. The material is found in the Alien Ruins region. It may seem difficult to locate at first, but once you know where to look, there are many grouped together waiting to be collected.

Creature Enamel Guide – Subnautica 2

Before you can start your hunt for Creature Enamel, you must progress through the main story until you unlock access to the Alien Ruins biome. Once you arrive there, head to the Research Outpost because it serves as the easiest starting point for finding the material.

From the Research Outpost, begin traveling southeast between 150 and 165 degrees. As you continue forward, you will start noticing large spike-like formations sticking out along the mountain area ahead. These spikes mark the location where Creature Enamel can be gathered.

Collecting The Creature Enamel Deposits

When you reach the mountain, exit your Tadpole and move closer to the strange, spiked formations. These are the Creature Enamel deposits you need.

To collect the material, you must use a Sonic Resonator. Once the deposit is hit with the resonator, it will break apart and drop Creature Enamel that you can pick up immediately.

Farming More Creature Enamel

The good thing about this location is that the deposits are not limited to a single spot. If you continue searching around the mountain and nearby ledges, you will find several more scattered throughout the area. Because there are multiple deposits close together, this becomes one of the best places to gather Creature Enamel.

What Creature Enamel Is Used For

Creature Enamel is mainly used to craft Enameled Glass, which is required for several upgrades and vehicle modules.
