This Subnautica 2 Digest Food Guide shows you the way in which you can easily digest the seafood. Survival in Subnautica 2 does not only mean you have to beware of dangerous creatures. You also need to manage your food needs. This management is very difficult because there are many things in Subnautica 2 that your character cannot easily digest.
Digest Food Guide – Subnautica 2
There is a mutation and digestion upgrade you can unlock that makes survival much easier. This lets you eat different underwater plants and creatures. Once you get it, finding food becomes far less stressful while exploring.
As you continue progressing through your main objectives in Subnautica 2, you will eventually complete the Welcome Center section. After that, another black box objective will appear. It should be around the third or fourth main objective in the game. You need to follow the marker to the new location. While moving to your destination, keep collecting supplies and keep an eye on your oxygen levels along the way.
When you arrive at the area connected to the black box, explore it. Explore around the upper section carefully. Near the top, you will find a strange, organic object that looks almost like a jelly-like structure. This organic object is called Angel Comb. It is similar to the one used earlier in the game that allowed your character to breathe underwater for a short time.
Angel Comb has a pink colored bulb as a part of it. Interact with this object, and it will give you the mutation and digestion upgrade that changes how food works for your character.
Before reaching this point, you will mostly have to survive using rations bars, Nutrient Blocks, and limited supplies. After unlocking the mutation, you can start eating seaweed along with many of the fish you find in the ocean. This makes survival much easier from that point onward.
