Developer Velan Studios has announced the early access release date of Midnight Murder Club. Midnight Murder Club is a first-person shooter party game, and it will launch in Early Access on March 13, 2025, for PS5 and PC via Steam. This unique multiplayer experience allows players to stalk and hunt each other in the pitch-black corridors of Wormwood Manor, using only a flashlight and a revolver to survive the chaos. The PS5 and PC versions will allow crossplay, allowing players to hunt each other irrespective of the platform on which they are playing the game.
In Midnight Murder Club, six players will jump into a mansion and try to hunt down each other and survive to the top. The game blends tension and humor as you scramble through the darkness, chasing voices and accidentally colliding with hidden opponents. Each gunshot not only reveals a location but also attracts other hunters, leading to unpredictable and often hilarious encounters.

Alongside classic game modes like Free for All, Thief in the Night, Team Deathmatch, and Headhunters, Velan Studios is introducing an exciting new mode called Wildcards. This fresh addition allows you to use special cards from their collection to alter in-game rules in unexpected and chaotic ways. Whether it’s boosting everyone’s speed, hijacking vendor items, or causing fiery explosions upon death, these cards add an unpredictable twist to every match. After each Wildcards game, participants receive new cards to expand their collection, ensuring even more ways to disrupt future matches.
The Early Access will also offer the Midnight Murder Club Guest Pass Edition, which allows friends to join matches for free. With just one purchased copy of the game, you can invite up to five others to play in both public and private matches, offering an accessible and inclusive way to experience the game’s frantic fun. This initiative underscores Velan Studios’ commitment to making Midnight Murder Club a social, party-focused experience where friends can easily jump into the action.
The Early Access version will be available for $19.99, while the Guest Pass Edition will launch simultaneously at no additional cost. This period will allow the developers to fine-tune the game with community input. Velan Studios encourages you to share feedback via Discord, the Steam Community Hub, and other social channels to help shape the game’s future.
