Turn-Based Superhero Game Marvel’s Midnight Suns Delayed Again

Marvel’s Midnight Suns

2K and Firaxis have yet again delayed the launch of their upcoming turn-based superhero game, Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The game which was then supposed to launch on 7 October 2022 has now been pushed to a later date somewhere around March 2023.

In a short statement by the game’s Twitter, the developer has shared that they have pushed the launch date timing of the game to ensure that they deliver the best possible experience for the fans.

Considering that this is the biggest game that the developer has been working on, it is understandable that they need more time to polish the game and launch it in a version that they feel is best for the players.

The full statement by the Marvel’s Midnight Suns team reads,

We have an important update to share regarding our launch date for Marvel’s Midnight Suns. After discussion with the team, we’ve made the decision to move back the launch date timing of Marvel’s Midnight Suns to ensure we are delivering the best possible experience for our fans. We will launch later this fiscal year on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions following a later date.

We know fans are looking forward to playing Marvel’s Midnight Suns and we will use this extra time to make sure we are delivering the best possible experience for everyone. Marvel’s Midnight Suns is easily the biggest game we’ve ever made and we’re incredibly appreciative of all the support players have shared with us throughout the years.

While the PC version will release anything in this fiscal year, the previous gen console version, including the Nintendo Switch will be pushed ever further with its launch.

Last year, the game was pushed to the second half of 2022, where it announced the October 2022 date during June’s Summer Game Fest. The delay announcement didn’t take long as it is likely pushed to next year. Having said that, we hope for a release date announcement during this winter season if not anytime earlier.
