8 New Cars in Gran Turismo Sport

Polyphony digital will be adding more content, specifically 8 new cars in Gran Turismo sport. The update will come out this month on 17 January, as was teased by its creator Kazunori Yamauchi on twitter.

Director Kazunori Yamauchi recently teased the typical image that showed silhouettes of the eight cars coming in the update. Take a look at the image below, and take a guess what cars you think are coming in the game.

Many fans have already guessed and discussed the cars that will come, based on the teased image. Vehicles like the Nissan 350Z and Honda Integra DC2 are looking strong in coming in the game with the next update. Here is the list of the cars that the fans think are coming:

  • Nissan 350Z
  • Honda Integra Type R DC2
  • Ferrari Dino 246
  • Porsche 356
  • Aston Martin DBS3
  • Mustang Fastback
  • BMW Z4

There is no other news of additional content like new track or GT League Events, but we cannot rule them out since it still a bit early until a proper update announcement is made by Polyphony on their part.

Last month in December, the update v1.31 brought in a new track layout for the Tokyo Expressway, along with 7 new cars that included the McLaren P1 GTR, Ferrari F50, and more. It also brought in new GT League events in the game with overall improvements in the experience.

More news has also come out where Polyphony digital is reported to be expanding. The developer recently opened a new studio in Ueno district, Tokyo, bringing the total number of studios to five worldwide. Time will tell whether this is to begin work for the next Gran Turismo game. All we can do is wait and see what Polyphony has to say in the months to come.

What do you think of the new cars coming in the update? Do you think a new track will be added too? Post your comments below.
