Xbox Series X Games

Microsoft has announced that it will be showing us a bunch of Xbox Series X games next week. The Inside Xbox event will premier on May 7 at 11AM ET/8AM PT. Be sure to check out next-gen gameplay that the developers will be showing for the Xbox Series X.

The live stream event was officially announced on Twitter:

This is the first time we will be getting any gameplay video from the next-gen console itself. In addition to getting information on the new games, we might get to see the true power of the console and what it can do. Expectations among fans have been high especially after the technical specifications of the console were revealed in February.

While we won’t be getting any first-party title gameplay like Halo, the live stream might feature games from third and second party studios. On the other hand, Ubisoft Nordic has replied to the original Xbox tweet, saying that the studio will be happy to reveal the first Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay trailer during the Inside Xbox live stream event.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was just revealed a couple of days ago with its cinematic world premiere trailer. The game features a Viking setting showcasing the brutal era of the Vikings. Now that Ubisoft has confirmed some real gameplay of the next Assassin’s Creed title, we will be getting a good look at the game running on Xbox Series X.

On the other hand, Sony has yet to fully reveal its next-gen PlayStation 5 console. The company is taking its own sweet time in slowly revealing some of the things, starting with the technical specs of the console, along with the DualSense controller that was revealed last month. We still have got to see the new console before we get any information on the games the PS5 will feature.
