Developer and publisher Auroch Digital has officially announced Warhammer Survivors, a fast-paced roguelite survivors game based on the same engine as Vampire Survivors. In this brand-new adventure, you will play as characters from two unique Warhammer universes, Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and collect and evolve iconic weapons to destroy endless swarms of enemies. It is slated for a release in 2026. Poncle, the developer behind Vampire Survivors, is also developing alongside Auroch Digital.
Warhammer Survivors is endorsed as part of the official Survivors lineage, but it will be a standalone game that promises to bring the same relentless and pixel-vomit gameplay of Vampire Survivors and fuses it with the grimdark of the Warhammer universes. It will offer fresh twists, iconic characters, and powerful weapons in an entirely new setting. You will get the choice of choosing between the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes and lead a roster of iconic characters are you try to endure never-ending swarms of relentless enemies.
You will pick setting-accurate weapons and evolve them to become even more powerful. Weapon and power-up combinations are back, allowing you to annihilate the enemies in any way you like. The game will give you freedom to try new strategies, unlock new characters, upgrades, and weapon combinations, along with tons of secrets and collectibles. For its initial announcement, Auroch has only revealed a handful of characters from both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes. These include:
