Publisher Wired Productions and developer Caged Element have announced the 1.0 launch of their chaotic racing title Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks. Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks is now fully available as the title exits its Early Access phase, and its launch trailer was part of the Warhammer Skulls Showcase 2025. Wired Productions only took over the title recently, as the announcement was made last week of its acquisition. The new publisher has made some significant changes to the title, such as stripping every sort of microtransaction out of the title.
The full release also marks several other important additions to Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freak, such as a new vehicle, a new game mode, and customization options. During its early access period, the game saw over 250,000 players. The publisher is promising even more new content to arrive soon, details on which will be revealed at a later date. For now, you can check out the 1.0 launch trailer of Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks below:
The complete list of new content includes:
- Player-hosted games: Create private or public lobbies with custom settings.
- New Vehicle – Trukk: A havoc-wreaking ambush vehicle with a fearsome amount of firepower and rowdy Orks in the back.
- New Game Mode – Free Roam: Choose any map and create custom races around it, as well as practice driving skills and abilities.
- New Maps: Da Dust Up and Da Gorge are Speed Freeks’ most dynamic and visually striking to date.
- Ork Pit Bosses: Players can now unlock and customize Ork avatars to show off to teammates and enemies alike.
- Alternative Weapons: Unlockable weapons expand the playstyles of each vehicle for new ways to master them.
For a limited time, you can purchase Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks for a discounted price of $15.99. You can head over to its official Steam page to avail the discount. If you purchased the Early Access version of the game earlier, you would receive the 1.0 update for free, and you only need to update your game to its newest version to try out the new content added to it.
