Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Stormling Studios have announced that their cyberpunk horror title Transient: Extended Edition is coming to consoles. Transient: Extended Edition will release on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PS4 on December 8, 2021 however there is no word yet on a next-gen console release catering to PS5 or Xbox Series X|S players. Transient comes from the creators of Conarium and the Darkness Within series.
The Extended Edition brings additional gameplay, a brand-new ending, and plenty of quality-of-life improvements to the game. The Extended Edition will also release free of cost for PC Steam players where the game was released originally back in 2020. The PC version will bring stunning 4K visuals including HDR support as well as additional achievements, multiple save support, and enhanced controller and force-feedback support.

Transient: Extended Edition is set in a distant, post-apocalyptic future where a small fraction of the remaining mankind is living in an enclosed citadel created to survive the harsh outside environment. You will get to explore this dystopian world and investigate what is happening to you and your friends as you solve puzzles, hack systems and plug into various other dimensions.

- Augmented man on a mission – You assume the role of Randolph Carter, a man equipped (read: augmented) for the job. Use your advanced perception heightening implant, PHI, to investigate your surroundings, scan for clues, and hack your way past barriers preventing you from uncovering the truth.
Transient: Extended Edition will release on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and the Extended Edition will be available to all Steam players as a free update.
