Mind-Bending The Entropy Centre will Feature Unique Puzzles, Forcing Players to Think in Reverse

Review: The Entropy Centre

The recently announced The Entropy Centre will have you time bending your will to overcome deviously smart and unique puzzles. The game was revealed at the recent Future Game Show event, where publisher Playstack and developer Stubby Games introduced the game.

The game will allow players to think in reverse to overcome all sorts of impossible obstacles and puzzles. The game will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One later this year.

Watch the game’s trailer below:

In The Entropy Centre, you play as Aria, as she awakes inside a colossal space station, in the near-orbit of Earth. The first of her problems is that the Earth has been set ablaze after an extinction-level event and that the space station she is in appears to be abandoned and on the brink of imminent collapse.

With the help of ASTRA, a talking gun capable of moving objects backward in time, you will need to restore the facility’s collapsed bridges, reassemble broken pathways, and overcome complex puzzles to progress to the core of The Entropy Centre in all hopes of surviving and finding a way home.

Stubby Games founder Daniel Stubbington talked about their ambitious title and long-held dream project,

The Entropy Centre isn’t pulling any punches. This is the game that I’ve wanted to craft for a long time and I can’t wait to see players delve into this crazy time-manipulating world that I’ve created.

Chief executive Harvey Elliott at Playstack also added,

The Entropy Centre is a brilliant example of what we are looking for – it’s an extraordinarily smart, satisfying, and witty puzzle game that is resonating with fans. We are feeling great about its response so far and have big plans for the coming months to maximize its success.
